Description

If you want to see more Doctor Who carvings, here's my website.

I'm trying to come up with different colour schemes I want to use for these but I'm torn.  Do I simply iron oxide them?  Do I use other colourants as I've done here along with that?  Should I give them a more cold feel with black and white?  Perhaps I should use the insides of the TARDIS for inspiration, colour-wise, but *which* TARDIS inside? There have been quite a few. Heh.  Your comments on the subject are welcome.

If you want to know how I carve this and others pieces, please view my Youtube tutorials.

Personally I wouldn't use any fancy TARDIS colour schemes and stick to different shades of bronze or copper instead. I really like the way it's in this picture! Gallifreyan society is something very distinguished yet stuck in their ways according to NewWho canon imo; not much space for happy colours - and since they're gone for so long I would try weathering the piece a bit more? Just a thought :)
